The Arnold Bros. Transportation Academy classroom environment provides our students with an interactive learning experience in a strategically designed student-centered teaching and learning environment.
Our programs are designed to support different learning & communication styles in a committed effort to maximize the experience for each student during the classroom portion of their training.
Our online training portal allows each student access to current & past days lessons to review as they prepare to transition to the in-cab portion of their training.
DriveWise Safety & our Driver Training Simulator
Arnold Bros. Transportation Academy is the official Partner Training Center for DriveWise Safety in Manitoba. This partnership has our Team committed to serving the training requirements of their national customer base in the province, in addition to implementing DriveWise’s advanced technology into our own training environment.
Our L3Harris V4 simulator allows us to provide our students with a safe, hands-on, practical experience in year-round, indoor training facility. The Simulator has about 120 different vehicle combinations with a number of different power train and transmission configurations available.
Our classroom features a new Air Brake and Brake Control Training Board (April 2023) from L & L Fabricating. We are the only licensed driver training academy in Canada to have one.
Our new board is an ideal example of how accessing & incorporating industry leading technology into a training model can and will help to develop better trained and ultimately safer drivers.
Our Air Brake Training System is a Bendix EC-60 Premium System which is designed to help mitigate rollovers and loss-of-control on a wide variety of road conditions. Full stability delivers more performance than roll-only systems, thanks to additional sensors and braking capability.
